Of course, there are many wonderful secondary roads to take to get you to the same place. It just depends on the weather at the time you're traveling. If it's toward the end of May you should be fine.
Thanks, this is what I need to know since travel in these areas is new to us. I know when to travel in the Midwest but hear how late some of these areas are still battling snow so this really helps.
Seems like I should start in early April and end in May instead of a month earlier.
