Help with cat friendly hotels/motels McAllen to Akumal

Hi all, we are leaving tomorrow from McAllen and heading to Akumal. We decided to leave our RV in south Texas and drive. We have a cat and we did get booked at the Las Palmas Midway inn in Matalula....

Stay in a Motel, place cat in cat carrier, and also have a cat litter box, place litter box in bathrrom on floor, take cat and show cat where litter box is do not lock cat in bathroom, do not let cat out of room when entering and exiting, the cat should be OK.

There are worse things in Motel rooms than cat hair.
