Hermisillo to Kino

NO NO NO: After the last toll booth there is a road on the right. WE call it the mine road and indeed there is a sign for a mine. You follow that road until you see a pack of power transformers. It is signed for Hermosillo. Turn left. Follow this road until you come to a Soriana. Turn right it dead ends at a scarp/ propane yard. Trun left. Keep on trucking for a few KM's. You will see signs for airport/Kino. Turn right. This is the road to Kino. I don't often give out street names. Sometimes there are no street signs. Or the streets change names. This route avoids most of central HMO.

Moisheh, do you still have to be super careful of the traffic police after you turn South at the transformers?

I am not the authority - I have never done this route. But I like to visualize. And I like fooling around with maps. And I like posting pictures on this forum. So here is a map of what I think Moiseheh explained.

Interestingly enough - HERE maps shows the same route without having to force stops. My first map was from the old Streets & Trips. This one is from my Windows Maps offline maps from HERE maps. Still learning how to use this one.

So here's a related question...

Moisheh: this route would link with your suggested bypass to get to Kino from the south. To get through Hermosillo from the south, would you do this, or is it too far out of the way unless you want to go to Kino?
