We use Rt 84 to Rt 81 or reverse from Cape Cod to anywhere West. Would never travel Rt 95 thru or anywhere near NY City. Makes it much more relaxing and only a little longer. Going to Wash. DC this week ( Cherry Hill) and this is our preferred routing.
