Hi way 299 west from Redding California to the coast
I have traveled a lot of mountians, and am looking at the 299 after visiting the Shasta State Historical Park then to the coast ,,up to Oregon. 25' trailer and skilled driver. Hows' the road?

Probably 50 threads on this hiway. Some don't mind it. Many of us hate it. At least three passes to cross. 20 around clear lake is better or the road our of grants pass are much preferred.
