Hi way 299 west from Redding California to the coast
I have traveled a lot of mountians, and am looking at the 299 after visiting the Shasta State Historical Park then to the coast ,,up to Oregon. 25' trailer and skilled driver. Hows' the road?

I drove that road in a heavy under powered truck,over 6 hours from Redding to Eureka. It was a long day but drop dead beautiful country.It is certainly doable with your rig but don't try to push and make time.
