Hi way 299 west from Redding California to the coast
I have traveled a lot of mountians, and am looking at the 299 after visiting the Shasta State Historical Park then to the coast ,,up to Oregon. 25' trailer and skilled driver. Hows' the road?

We enjoy that route. A lot less logging and chip truck traffic now that the forests are basically closed.
