Hi way 299 west from Redding California to the coast
I have traveled a lot of mountians, and am looking at the 299 after visiting the Shasta State Historical Park then to the coast ,,up to Oregon. 25' trailer and skilled driver. Hows' the road?

Did the exact same trip last year with a 26" trailer and an F250. No real problem, great views. The real curvy part towards the east had a lot of construction going on, but no real delays. They have some major projects, so you might want to google CA 299 for information.
