Highway 139 From Klamath Falls to Susanville
Will be towing a 25' Travel Trailer in late September. What are the road conditions, grades, etc. or is there an alternate route that should be considered. Thx

As a youngin' I was raised on 139 South of Newell. We homesteaded there in 1949.
Good road. At the T at Canby go left on 299 into Alturas (20 miles) and right onto 395. In Standish continue straight and 395 will interchange onto 36 and right into Susanville. Have not been Standish to Susanville since the mid 60's when I was at Lassen Junior College.
I like 395 as it is just better hiway.
Tuesday we will be heading North that direction into Coeur d'Alene. Will be staying in Likely going up...
