Highway 139 From Klamath Falls to Susanville
Will be towing a 25' Travel Trailer in late September. What are the road conditions, grades, etc. or is there an alternate route that should be considered. Thx

395 through Alturas is mainly flat farm country. I drove it this year.
189, IIRC, is mountainous (but fine). Don't do what I did and bend your tie rod before the long downhill. To this day I cannot believe it showed no symptoms until we got to town... where we suddenly lost steering.
