I'm not too familiar with the Columbia area, but the only issue for you I can think of is Logtown Grade between Plymouth and El Dorado. It has a couple switchbacks but should be doable for you. There are a couple turnouts, so please use them if there is traffic behind you. I don't know where you're going in Placerville, but I would suggest you don't use 49 between Diamond Springs and Placerville. There will be some pretty tight turns at stoplights when you get in to town. Use Missouri Flat Rd to get to US 50 to get to Placerville.
