Highway 59 out of Hurricane, Utah

This route is very nice - we just did it a month ago. However, because of the Hwy 89 road being out just south of Page, when you get to Fredonia from 389, pick up 89A instead. It will take you over to just south of where the road damage is near the intersection of 89. Then from that 89A/89 intersection, continue south on 89 to Flagstaff.

I wouldn't advise the detour route if you take 89 from Kanab into Page and then the detour hwy through the reservation. Even though it's now paved, it was done in a hurry to create this detour and it's very rough and the speed limit is low - like 25 MPH.
