Highway 6 in AB Through Waterton Lakes and Hiway 17 in MT

Dh and I plan to enter the US through Waterton Lakes NP on AB highway 6 from Pincher Creek and then MT highway 17, destined for St. Mary, MT. Our Trucker's Guide notes that this is a restricted route...

hmm I tried to post an image of the park boundaries but no joy. The highway is within the park boundaries tho'. The highway is east of the park entrance if coming from Pincher Creek.
