When I lived in the Bay Area, we pulled several different 5th wheels to HWY 50, then on to 88, and 0ver 89 (Monitor Pass) to 395 down to Bridgeport area. Never had any issues, and all you need to do is watch your speed going downhill and anticipate curves.
