Hinton to Grande P. OR Jasper to Prince G. and Dawson Creek

Starting to seriously armchair plan our first Alaska trip for late may through August 2017. Want to go to Glacier NP and thought we would cross at Sweetgrass then take 95 to Lake Louise. Have to miss ...

I am planning the same trip route in late June, I am a little confused, This site is saying that Hwy 40 from Hinton to Grand P is ok and is paved. I was looking at another web site and it talked about a dusty gravel road to avoid????? Is this road ok with a RV trailer and is there gas along the way?

Also how long does it take to travel this stretch in hours?
