US 75 north of Topeka to Nebraska City is a good road. We always take that road when coming or going north. It saves a lot of miles over taking I29 to KC and catching I35. In KS 75 is a super two road, two lanes with wide shoulders. In Nebraska it is a good two lane road but does not have as wide shoulders. Traffic just north of Topeka to Holton (and casino) can be heavy during rush hour but it does move along.
