Yeah, I'm sure it's happened to many others..just felt so stupid, so I thought I'd toss out a reminder.
Have ordered a new one - $16.99 and it's done, and yes, it's right on the column just a few inches below the steering wheel, simple to get at. Glad its not the kind on the tranny housing down below.
