Lakewood church occupies the old arena that the Rockets played in...in the Greenway plaza area off I-59 south west of downtown...all commercial...It's a experience but parking for your rig could be a issue, as all attendees use a parking garage...as for the Aquarium there are 2 as already stated, one downtown and the other in Kemah(the original) on the Galveston Bay waterfront/Clearcreek Channel. I live in Clear Lake Shores/Kemah where we have 2 RV facilities on FM 2094. For us locals the Fertitta family for the most part took over the Kemah waterfront and now rule without any semblance of a quality experience/tourist trap.
As for Nassa they're on the north side of
Clear Lake.
I've lived in CLS for 30+yrs and would never consider the Kemah water front for entertaining...Always prefer going to Galveston...Favorite eatery, Rudy and Pacos at 21st & Post officde.
