It is an interesting thing, for sure. I do get a chuckle out of the questions, sometimes, that would appear so foolish to us, but obviously, to the person asking, it's serious. The money thing is one, and cel phone coverage, repair questions and then the food ones.
It must be indicative of their lesser quality of beer. It's the only thing that makes sense.
