also, my BOA debit card was accepted at costco. for all other expenses, we used the capital one and i checked my statement online and see no additional charges..
Looks like a slight error regarding exchange rates, more like 91 U.S. pennies to attain a Canadian dollar. Don't try it with pennies, though. Canada does not use the Penny any longer.
