If you take the dog into the ocean and she yellps and you do not find anything ovious there are two possible scenarious.
Small sting rays burried in the sand that have a stinger and flick the tail when stepped on and yelly fish tentacles floating in the water, I never walk but shuffle, the dog is not going to shuffle, but walk or jump arround.
I was stung by a yellyfish piece of a tentacle floating in the water in Puerto Angel and that stings, warm hot water helps with pain if stung by a ray, pay attention to the wound for infection, if the dog seems listless all of a suden there mighbe a bit of imfection from the stinger wound, seeck a vet immediatlly.
