Do you think its better than going down to 501 and up 17? I will be getting there tomorrow, but just planning ahead. don't know because I've only done the trip that once. It seemed fine and the DW wasn't holding on for dear life so I guess she was ok with it as well.
We stopped in Fredricksburg VA at the KOA there.
We could not find a spot anywhere last, everyone booked due to the NASCAR race. We ended up spending the night at the cracker barrel in Ashland. Hitting the road again now.
