Hurricane-Kanab-Page-Cameron

We are thinking of traveling from Hurricane UT to Page through Kanab and then south to the east rim of the Grand Canyon in Jan.We will be traveling with a fifth wheel and have to go around Zion. Is that route feasible in Jan. I know it would easier to go around by Vegas but we really want to see the slot canyons at Page and this way we can do all this while we are still acclimatized to the colder weather. Temps don't bother us but snow and ice do. Thank you in advance

    Should be ok but watch the weather. Where is the "east" rim of the GC? If you mean NORTH rim it will most likely be closed.

    Have not been there in a couple of years, but when we were the roads around Kanab, Pipe Springs and some of Vermillion Cliffs were day to day. Blowing snow one day and completely melted the next.
