Hwy 101 closure unitl Jan. 15 - mudslides - Santa Barbara

To help provide information to the communities affected by the mudslides in Santa Barbara County, the CHP has created a resource webpage with the latest evacuation and traffic information. For more information, go to https://www.chp.ca.gov/home/emergency-incident.

Also, US 101 will not be opened until 1/15/18, midday, see below for alternate routes.

ALTERNATE ROUTES:
Northbound US 101 Closed at SR 150
Alternate route
SR 126 east to I 5 north to SR 166 west to US 101 north

Southbound US 101 closed at Milpas Street
Alternate route
SR 166 east to I 5 south to SR 126 west to US 101 south

SR 33 northbound closed at Fairview Road
Alternate route
SR 126 east to I 5 north to SR 166 west to US 101 north

    Some sections are knee deep or more. Showed a Hummer on the beach that was so mangled you had to take the reporters word for it.
