Thanks all. Kinda what I thought, but with the hold-ups on 299 it was tempting. We will take 299 and deal with the delays. Hope the 101 is open for our return May 3. Caltrans is saying it will be open this Friday, but I'm not holding my breath on that one. Saw some photos online and it is a huge slide.
