Hwy 133 Colorado

Taking a trip to Colorado this summer How is HWY 133 for a 35 foot Class A pulling a car?
Any semi major road in the state we should keep off of with the Class A
  • No problem. We took 133 from Carbondale to Montrose, towing a small trailer. Very pretty drive, not many services along the way.

We do it in the signature rig - Catch Marble and Redstone maybe even Crystal Mill if you have the Time.

    Marble

    Redstone

    Crystal Mills

Look over the Images - we loved it.

    Best of Luck,

The steepest part of McClure Pass is from the top down into the valley to the turnoff for Marble.

Just remember you have to use CO 82 north from Carbondale to exit the valley, as a rig your size isn't allowed over Independence Pass. Personally I think they should ban dually pickups over Independence Pass as it is just too narrow to pass in places. I've had to back up for one before.
