- bobsallyhExplorer IINo problem! We are in the Kalispell, Libby area during August. Sometimes when we leave Libby, we take US 2 to MT. 56, then use MT. 200 thru Hope and on into Sandpoint. Either way is good.
- Army11BravoExplorer IIWe live in Kalispell and take that road often. There are no real large inclines and plenty of lakes to view along the way.
The swinging bridge is at Kootenai Falls between Libby & Troy near mile marker 21. There is a large turnout for cars and RV's on the north side of the highway (on the eastbound side of the road). It's a great short stop to check out. - RicBExplorer

Yes. Very nice 2 lane hwy. A number of lakes west of Kalispell, a doable climb to get into Idaho and then a straight shot to Sandpoint. Lots of great places to camp along the route. Also, plan to stop at the swinging bridge over the rapid several miles west of Libby MT. Very scenic drive.
