HWY 395 California

For the most part beautiful and nice to drive. Especially after you've passed the 14 connection NB. Probably my favorite road in CA to drive. I'm less thrilled with the section in San Bernardino County. Not steepness-it for some reason attracts some very poor drivers with risky passing attempts. And a month ago there was some construction NB 2 lane section out of Adelanto with K railed right lane (not hint of shoulder) and lot of heavy truck traffic opposite. The crosswinds on this section can be notable too.
