HWY 50 - From Montrose to Pueblo - In 45 foot 5th Wheel?

Is this going to be a white knuckle drive going over Monarch Pass with a 45 foot 5th wheel? I've driven on 550 between silverton and ridgway (NOT with a 5th wheel but a truck camper and a cargo trail...

I can tell you for sure that 50 from Montrose to Gunnison is much easier than 550. Beyond Gunnison, I don't know.

And as of right now, Google routes you around a construction zone east of Montrose. Don't know how long that project will go on.
