Hwy 50 Montrose to gunnison

That route is approved for 18 wheelers and shouldn't be a problem if you have enuf truck for your trailer.

We pull it often with 38 ' 5ver. No problems and not a bad pass with long pulls.

Beautiful road! We did it on a cool September day, with the aspens changing on the hillsides.

A couple of tight turns and a few moderate climbs but very doable.

Always under construction during week days.

very senic drive in my opinion.

Where are you going from Montrose? North toward Grand Junction is a 4 lane EZ pull, but south to Durango is entirely different.

He is going east on US 50, which is okay as others have pointed out. I have run that route both ways with doubles.

Right. He asked in another post about 114 out of Gunnison. Thought he may be headed south after Montrose. That's a tough road.

Cerro summit and Blue Mesa summit. They are easy climbs.
