Hwy 64 to Hwy 65 to I 70 in Missouri

We will be leaving the Bennett Springs State park tomorrow and need to get to I-70. Hwys 64 & 65 are red roads and they look okay but thought I ought to check on them for driving a 40' motorhome with a tow vehicle. Thanks for any input.

  • Did the run today and it was just fine! Hwy 64 was a little curvy the first 5-6 miles west from bennett Springs State Park and US 65 was great all of the way. Thanks for the feedback.

  • We drove 65 from Little Rock to Branson yesterday. We have a 37 ft. MH towing our car. No problems at all and one of the most beautiful drives I have had in a long time.
  • I was on the same route two weeks ago. 64 is a two lane road but has many RVs traveling to and from Bennett Springs. 65 is as good as an interstate all the way to I-70 with the exception of going slow through Sedalia.
  • A lot of 65 is 4 lane and it is a good road. Don't know were 64 is. Highway 54 connects up with I-70 and a lot of it is also 4 lane. The road I would use would depend on which way I was going to go when I got to I-70.
