- mockturtleExplorer IIHave taken that route many times. Plenty of fuel stops, e.g, Wells, Ely & Alamo. Take the 318 cutoff.
- MjayExplorerThinking of taking that road when we leave on the 26th. Avoid a lot of traffic in SLC.
- The_TexanExplorerThat is all "high desert" and mountain driving so watch the weather very close.....The Wells NV, Ely NV areas have had some significant snows, so just be aware.
- notevenExplorer IIIIt's a great drive. Take a side trip to Death Valley while you are in the country.
Safe travels - ronniedean1234ExplorerBeen taking that route since 96, great road and plenty of fuel stops. As mentioned when you get to Ely, Nv. take hwy 6 for about 20 miles then 318 then that will take you back to 93 just north of Alamo, this route will save you about 40 plus miles...

Hwy 93 from Twin Falls ID to North Las Vegas NV. Coming from Alberta Canada. Has anyone travelled this route in mid Feb. Wondering about fuel stops.
Wells and Ely are the largest communities with fuel. I would not travel at night without plenty of fuel and at night the road is in most places not fenced. Animals on the road can be an issue. Otherwise very low traffic volumes and lots of wide open spaces until IR 15 north of Las Vegas. - 1492ModeratorMoved from Forum Technical Support
