Hwy 97?

97 is great 2 lane road. Does not have all the hills - up/down that I5 has.

Yes. Hiway 97 is a great road. I drive it at least once a year and avoid Interstate 5 at all costs.

When we go south that the way we go, never had problem other than the normal maintenance.no big hills or hard pulls.
And it is a much more relaxed drive than I-5

Hwy 97 is a typical two lane road that follows the railroad thru the mountains. We did it with a 45' plus toad and had no problems. Be sure to leave yourself enough time to really enjoy the scenery and stops along the way. I assume you're going to continue on 97 to see Crater Lake. If not, you should.....Dennis

Should be a pretty easy ride. 97 is a good highway. I travel it with a fifth wheel with no problems at all.
