I-10 best choice thru TX?
Traveling Jan 15th from Pensacola FL to Casa Grande AZ. Was wondering if I-10 through TX is the best choice of route to take at that time of year. Camp grounds, fuel, safety? Lakeside

If you do the Hwy 90 thing there's also Seminole Canyon, just before you reach the Pecos River, that has a cliff shelter with pictographs to check out. I also recommend you fill up at Sanderson before heading further west through Marathon and beyond. There's a large convenience store on the left just before you exit the town. On a future trip when you can afford the time, Big Bend Nat'l Park is a great place to visit for a few days.
