It hit 48 today at Fort Davis, and folks cleared out quickly. Though with about 1 1/2 inches of sleet on the road at sunrise and 24 degrees, they waited until about noon to take off.
Only 12 sites occupied tonight - two came in from Big Bend.

Chisos Basin Campground, Big Bend National Park - we were camp hosts there from Apr 27 to Aug 7, 2014.
Can't take a rig as big as ours up into the mountains without being a camp or visitor center host. And of course it's a dry CG with no hookups except for the hosts.
While we were there at 5,400 ft elevation, two days hit 95, about 5 hit 90. We slept only three nights with the windows closed and AC on. More than half the nights were below 70 degrees. Beat the heck out of being back in Dallas/ north central Texas.
And the Milky Way is absolutely incredible there.
