I 10 Louisiana
Anybody know how I 10 in Louisiana is? A camper said it was rough. Is it a cement road?

It looks like it is open from Jax to Mobile with almost no delay. The only closures are some ramps in the Jax area.
Also there are some stories about that 80 mile stretch re-opening on October 11th. The storm hit the panhandle on October 10th so I'd say that is quick action. As for the trees, well heck even FDOT can't regrow 50 foot trees that quickly. Maybe they'll plant saplings but I have no idea what their plans are. The trees were there when I-10 was built.
Not saying the road was delayed other than in LA where they are rebuilding the entire thing and rightfully so. that stretch I have driven for 10 years and it sucks. This time they look like they have a plan... we can only hope. I hope they have the I10 signs up as they were not all up a few weeks ago in the hurricane area.
