I-20 or I-40 from Alabama to Santa Fe, NM?
Its been awhile since I've traveled these highways; which is better? I'll be pulling a 30' TT. According to Google Maps the mileage is nearly the same.

We live in North Ala and our son lives in Santa Fe. We have pulled our TT to SF the last 2 summers, all down I-40. We camp in Little Rock, OK City, and Amarillo.
Going west thru Memphis is a pain and both trips we have dropped down to West Helena, AR to cross the Mississippi river and then back up to I-40.
The eastern half of I-40 for this trip is very rough as I guess it has been torn up by truck traffic. I actually modified my TV suspension after the first trip to reduce the porposing.
If we do this again, I would consider another route.
