Either one is good. We prefer 285 because it avoids El Paso.
Down I 25, there is the Isleta Casino RV park just south of Albuquerque.
Further south, Socorro has an rv park on the south end of town.
on 285, there isn't much in the way of rv parks until get down around Roswell, and I can't tell you about them because we usually just do a walmart overnighter there.
Ft. Stockton doesn't have much either, but we have stayed at Comanche Land rv park several times in the past. It serves a lot of oil well workers these days, but they are just guys working hard like thousands of others.
