I 40 East Tennessee
Has anyone traveled west bound on I 40 in east Tennessee just across North Carolina line? Heard there is a possible detour or lane closures. Not much specific info on TDOT sites. Thanks

- Just keep in mind I40-I81-I95 are very heavy TRUCK TRAFFIC routes here on the East side of the US...
I try hard to avoid these routes.
Roy Ken - We were on it this summer and saw construction signs, I believe it was a lane closure but not sure. We got off just before the line to go rafting so we didn't go through it. Sorry I can't give more info.
