Grapevine isn't all that bad now days. The lanes are much smoother than they used to be and there are more of them. Usually two right lanes are for trucks with the outside lane occasionally having a truck loaded going 5mph or so. I drive in the second lane as I can maintain a comfortable pace and regain speed if I have to slow down. Going down to the North to me seems much steeper than going down South, either way keep speed in check and it'll be over before you know it.
Were actually crossing it tomorrow, but in a Tacoma and not towing ;)
Keep a eye out for all the morons in their BMWs though darting across every lane!
