When can we expect an ice free run South from Washington to SOCAL after winter? Thinking mid-March / early April. We will need some sun by then...... thinking Palm Springs.

Unless the weather does something horribly strange,you should have no problem. We went early March down 395 and while we hit some snow flurrys in Oregon and frozen hoses in Alturas when we got up in the am, the roads were dry.
