I5 has only one real pass, and that's on the OR/CA state line. And the usual advise is to wait in Oregon if a storm is coming through. Also it's low enough that overnight snow will be cleared and road relatively dry by midday.
It's the Portland area that is known for ice. If there's a big cold air mass on the east side of the mountains, that can flow through the Columbia gorge and make Portland driving nasty. The same sort of cold winds can flow out of the Frasier Canyon into the far north parts of Puget Sound. Seattle is better protected from those conditions.
Check WSDOT and Tripcheck driving conditions this weekend. This storm is wet and cold enough to produce mountain snow. NOAA predicts a chance of snow showers on the I5 pass around Monday.
