I-55 Memphis to St Louis??
Thinking about using I-55 north from Memphis to St Louis in July but have never run that route. How are the road surface conditions, traffic etc. I assume not too many hills as it runs the river valle...

That is the best choice for getting thru St Louis west bound. Just wait till about 9AM so as to miss the morning rush traffic. If you get there about 4PM just pull over and have a nice leisurely supper then continue on, you will arrive at the other end of the St Louis metro area about the same time and much less frazzled. ;)
