I-69 Construction in Michigan

Question

Traveling from Texas to Michigan.  Was toLd a major construction project started around Sep 14th  From Marshall MI to Lansing with major lane closures.  I will be traveling north toward Lansing.  Wondering if anyone has driven that recently and how bad is it.  Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Its a 4 year project from Marshall to Charlotte. Just started with prep work on the 15th,  cross over lanes, etc.

You could take US 131 north and then go East to Lansing on I-96 in Grand Rapids.

Check google maps with traffic conditions turned on.

Unless you go during the morning peak hour (northbound), it shouldn't be an issue. Even in the morning peak, it should just be a minor slow down.

(I was involved in some prelminary work on allowable lane closures)
