I 70 vs I 80 kc to cheyenne
We drove I 70 recently thru kansas is really nice road! Going from kc to cheyenne in a few weeks thought we'd try I 80 route just for different scenery, is it a good road, truck traffic?

I prefer US 6/34 because cornfields are less boring than wheat fields! Actually, it's because there are some towns on US 6 with really interesting historic attractions--a Frank Lloyd Wright house in McCook of all places, an eclectic "pioneer village" museum in Minden, a great natural science museum in Hastings, some wonderfully restored railroad cars at the Stehr Museum in Grand Island, and others along the way.
I prefer the I 80 route because it by-passes the Denver metro area and the I 25 between Denver and Ft. Collins which has become very hectic.
