Just went through South on Friday and North on Saturday. South is open was smooth sailing. You can see that North is under about 15' of rock as they are still blasting the hill and peeling it back so it doesn't happen again.
We were in a car and took the marked north detour with zero back ups. Trucks and trailers are diverted a little further but I talked to relatives in the area and they said most big trucks are avoiding the area completely so the marked detour is not bad. From what I could see there were very few big rigs running the detour.
