I-81 north of I-64

There is a stretch of I-81 just south of Roanoke that is more or less closed all this week, with traffic routed onto US-11 for several miles. I know that that is south of the area about which you inquired by about an hour, but it might affect your trip if you were passing through that area.

Between Staunton and Winchester the roads are easy going right now, except for the normal amount of truck traffic.

It's spring (I hope), you can expect road repairs anywhere in Penna..

We consider it a spectator sport because, we're forced to sit and watch it while traveling. :)
