I-86 conditions in NYS - any pavement improvements?

Drove that route last summer and hit a bad pothole. Broke an axle and a spring and was laid up for 2 weeks waiting for parts to repair it. Good thing there was a Volkswagen in the bottom of the pothole or I might have done some REAL damage to the 5er. LOL
