I have always found that I-90 is usually in pretty good shapetill you get past Minnesota and then it starts to go to heck.
When I wuz just a little kid, well I was of driving age,one of my biggest disappointments was the Pennsylvania Turnpike.Living in Washington we didn't have anything like that and in '56,we did a trip from Olympia to Philly,to N.C. and back thru Colorado and home in 6 weeks with 5 kids in a '55 DeSoto.I had read about how wonderful the turnpike was in Popular Science and Popular Mechanics and when we finally got to ride on it,it was the worst POS highway we drove on the WHOLE trip.
