We live south of Atlanta and hate taking I-75 through Atlanta but we know it is doable early Saturday or Sunday morning. My question is can you get through Chicago on I-94 early Saturday or Sunday morning. By early I mean around 8-9 AM. A friend said to take I-294 but also said that could be a pain if you do not have an I-pass or equivalent. We will be pulling a 31ft TT. Thanks for any advice.

Just went to Door co wi, went west at Indy on 74 north on 39 , about a hundard miles further, but a lot less hassle, went thru Chicago on a Sunday morning on 294 by 7:30 traffic was heavy, plus always road work going on on both

What is your destination ?I would NOT recommend taking a trailer through downtown Chicago on 94......EVER.

I Drive truck to Chicago every day, the only time that is good is in the middle of the night but even then you would be surprised at how much traffic there is then.

What is your destination? Are you stopping in Chicago, or just passing through?
